GLAS Clarity & ELA Standards for New Attendees

Overview

Join us for a deep dive into the importance of teacher clarity in tandem with the newly adopted ELA standards. Day 1 will build an understanding of the design and intent of the new standards and develop understanding of teacher clarity to create learning intentions and success criteria for standards. Day 2 will allow ample time to engage in clarity work with new standards in grade level groups, in vertical groups, and with others from your district. The overall goal of this two-day session is to build an awareness of the work needed to clearly support successful planning and instruction in our schools and leave with a plan for local implementation with a model to serve as your guide.
